COMMERCIAL INTERIOR DESIGN: Roc & Rye at 60 Spring Gardens, Manchester

Transforming a large open-plan office unit into a glamorous, art-deco inspired coffee and cocktail venue.

Pickard Design worked in close collaboration with our clients from planning through to specification. We provided:

Full set of planning drawings for Listed Building Consent and Change of Use.

COMMERCIAL INTERIOR DESIGN: Carrs Pasties - Flagship Store at Corporation Street, Bolton

Carrs Pasties is an iconic Bolton brand, producing top-notch pasties and pies. With several stores already in their portfolio, they decided to push the boat out for their flagship store on Corporation Street in the center of Bolton.

Pickard Design worked closely with the management team and construction managers to design a memorable, on-brand interior. The new interior calls on the Victorian listed shop-front for inspiration, mixing old and new to great effect.

The tiles echo the stained glass window pattern, tying the new into the old and bringing an authentic feel to the interior design.

The extremely tall ceiling, and long, narrow space called for some clever design thinking. Pickard Design specified a bespoke suspended ceiling raft with pendant lighting, to make good use of the vertical space.
